In the scope of the DigiTown project, Digitain hosts various programs for different-stage startups.
Digitain launched the M1TQ batch 2 but this time in a form of intensive development of startup ideas; with a combination of Hackathon and Acceleration to crowdsource innovative technological solutions and empower the Armenian startup ecosystem. The partner of the program was chosen to be the Estonian Garage48 which has 10+ years of experience in the field.
During the weekend-long hackathon, 50 startup ideas were presented and 30 were selected to form teams around them, be guided by both local and foreign mentors with international experience and come up with working prototypes in just 48 hours. The jury summed up the hackathon and chose the top 14 startups that advanced to the program’s 12-week acceleration phase.
The program was concluded with the Demo Day, during which the 7 startups that made it to the end pitched their ideas in front of local and international investors and venture capitalists to attract investments or grants. As a result, the winner received a $10,000 equity-free cash prize from Digitain while others received several valuable prizes from the program partners.

The M1TQ Incubation program was designed to push early-stage startups to advance to the next level. It gave a chance for 8 startups to go through a 12-week intensive entrepreneurial journey which included intensive coaching on key topics such as buyer persona development, prototyping, cash flow forecasting, pitching and more.
M1TQ batch 1 was implemented in collaboration with the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) in 2021. The Incubation program was concluded with the Demo Day, during which startups pitched their ideas in front of angel investors, venture capitalists and community leaders to potentially receive investments or grants. As a result, 3 out of 8 startups received grants from Digitain, one startup signed an investment contract due to the introduction to Science and Technology Angels Network (STAN) and another one signed an advisership contract with the US venture capital.
