Digitain has joined the “100 Houses in Artsakh” initiative as a part of its corporate social responsibility to drive a social and educational movement and stimulate the growth of the Armenian IT community.
The project is implemented jointly with the Public TV and the “Artsakh To Live” Foundation. Within this framework and under Digitain’s patronage, it is planned to build a 3-room apartment in Artsakh in 2022 for a family that has lost its home. Besides, Digitain has initiated the construction of a tech center near Dahrav village of Askeran.
“Being one of the largest IT companies in Armenia, Digitain considers regional growth as an important factor to boost the Armenian IT sector, while education being the cornerstone of decentralization. We are sure that the children of Dahrav and neighboring villages will have the opportunity to receive education, become the most creative and innovative specialists, and develop our country further,” highlighted Manana Hovakimyan, the Marketing Projects Manager of Digitain.
The construction of the technological center is the next logical step in creating a stronger IT community after the successful launch of the M1TQ incubation program. In the framework of the DigiTown project, Digitain launched this 12-week entrepreneurial program for early-stage startups, aiming to ensure the growth and development of the Armenian startup ecosystem.
Manana Hovakimyan also emphasized the new opportunities that await the students of the technological center: the successful graduates and newly formed startups from Dahrav village can get an opportunity to join the M1TQ program. Besides, Digitain is willing to help them develop their ideas and ensure their entry to international platforms and conquest of new markets.
