Digitain Launches M1TQ Entrepreneurial Program

Digitain is happy to announce that after several months of planning, the long-awaited M1TQ startup incubation program has been launched which is the first component in the framework of the DigiTown project. The first batch of the M1TQ program is designed and implemented in collaboration with the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST).

M1TQ is a 12-week entrepreneurial program with intensive practical coaching, goal-setting, and growth. It is designed for early-stage startups with marketable and innovative ideas.

The stages of the 12-week program include:

  1. Onboarding
  2. Customer & Market Analysis
  3. Prototype Design & Testing
  4. Business Development
  5. Pitching

“The cool thing about the M1TQ incubation program is that it provides early-stage teams with network, skill set, and capabilities to validate their idea and be ready for the market. It’s an excellent opportunity to interact with other entrepreneurs, share experiences, and enjoy talks during pizza nights,” says Anna, the Innovation Analyst from FAST.

Startups will spend about 50 hours in workshops to improve their product development, prototype design and testing, business modeling and sales strategy, as well as customer and market analysis.

The program will be concluded with Demo Day, where startups will pitch their ideas in front of angel investors, venture capitalists, and community leaders. Startups that successfully complete the program will be eligible for potential investments from the investor networks of Digitain and FAST. In addition, several financial resources will be granted to the fastest-growing startups. Participating startups will also get the opportunity for a long-term partnership with Digitain.

During the M1TQ incubation program, startups will get a work desk and all necessary equipment at the Digitain headquarters, where they will be mentored by industry experts.

The main goal of this program is to provide a range of opportunities to learn, develop, and build valuable networks. Thus, assisting business owners in beginning their companies and empowering the Armenian startup ecosystem․

“Our aim is to create the needed intellectual and physical environment, which will nurture idea-stage startups, shape the core business model, and help scale their business ideas for faster market entry,” highlights Mariam, the Project Manager of the M1TQ Incubation Program from Digitain.

M1TQ is the first corporate incubator in the industry. The program is designed to be continuous and will create long-term partnership perspectives with Digitain.
